The festival will be filled with INCREDIBLE food, EXCITING venues and LOADS of fun, but when it comes down to it, it's about SUPPORTING causes that make a BENEFICIAL difference in the world in which we live.
David Brower, founder of Friends of the Earth, the international environmental organization, coined the phrase ‘THINK GLOBALLY. ACT LOCALLY.’ The Hillsborough Street Renaissance is your opportunity to make a difference by learning about international projects and supporting local charities.
Ask yourself, ‘Do I want to change my community for the better?’ If the answer is yes, then give, and become part of Raleigh’s Green Revolution to promote sustainability and support the worthwhile efforts of Engineers Without Borders (www.ewbncsu.org), MorLove (www.morlove.org) and Soles4Souls (www.soles4souls.org).
This is our chance to show the world what we can achieve when students, families and professionals unite as one community. Please take this opportunity to donate even $1 to this worthwhile cause, as well as, three very deserving charities and their projects.
